We introduced our readers to Heat Holders in a Chic Choices column back in 2014.
We told you how Sock Shop, a company that got its start in 1947 England, was distributing its products in America – products that are ideal to “keep the nip out of your night.”
Well, we can report that that is certainly still true. The company’s reps recently got back in touch to let us know that the products, including a number of new introductions, are going strong – and reminding us of their benefits just in time for National Sleep Awareness Week. The week, an initiative of the National Sleep Foundation that gets under way March 6, is an annual event designed to raise awareness about the health benefits of sleep and its importance in regards to safety and productivity.
WAG received a sample of the new Snuggle Ups line of luxury fleece blankets and the Heat Holders Ladies Lounge Socks, which feature a non-slip grip.
Our tester tried the blanket ($29.99) both as a throw while watching television and as a layer of bedding. The verdict – and keep in mind this was during last weekend’s brutal cold snap – was positive.
The phrase “crazy warm” was, in fact, used.
Same for the socks ($17.99), which had a timely heart motif and are designed to be seven times warmer than the average cotton sock.
The full line of Heat Holders products, for men, women and children, also includes hats, gloves and thermal underwear.
While some might already be looking to spring, we all know there will still be plenty of chilly nights – so check out Heat Holders to be prepared.
